Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is Masdar's programme of summits, awards and exhibitions on energy, water and climate, held at ADNEC in mid-January. The World Future Energy Summit is its exhibition and conference core, three days inside the week, with the Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony and a run of ministerial forums around it.
Sustainability Week and the World Future Energy Summit share the exhibition centre and one busy calendar of evening events. The summit half of January's peak; IDEX follows two weeks later.

A real kitchen for early breakfasts, a washer for the week's shirts, a living room that is not a hotel lobby. Summit weeks are long — the evenings should not be.
Fast Wi-Fi and space to spread out papers and screens — follow-ups and calls happen from a desk, not a bed.

Planning summit week
What to know before you book
From Al Reem and Al Maryah it is a 10–15 minute taxi ride to ADNEC against the morning flow. Sessions start early — leave the car and let the taxi queue be someone else's problem.
January is Abu Dhabi's busiest month: ADSW opens it and IDEX follows two weeks later, so the city's hotels fill twice over. If the dates are set, hold your home now; cancellation terms are shown before you pay.
The programme runs Sunday to Thursday, with WFES mid-week. Our default stay spans the whole of it — in for the opening, out after the closing, no mid-summit moves.
Al Reem and Al Maryah are the business end of Abu Dhabi: the Galleria, ADGM, the Corniche — dinners and gym time stay close to home.
