The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes the Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit: practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, the race on Sunday evening under the lights. Four-day tickets include the after-race concerts at Etihad Live, the former Etihad Park, each night, so the island stays busy until late — and the roads onto it are slow on race day, which is why staying on Yas or across in Masdar matters.
The season finale on Yas Island. Our homes at Ansam, Water's Edge and in Masdar City sit minutes from the gates, on the same island as the after-race concerts and Yas Bay.

Planning race week
What to know before you book
Race-week guests book months ahead — much of the island's accommodation is gone long before December. If the dates work, hold them; cancellation terms are shown before you pay.
From our Yas Island and Masdar homes it is a short taxi ride to the gates — around ten minutes — and ride-hailing runs all weekend. Skip driving: race-day parking fills early.
Practice and qualifying run Friday and Saturday; the race is Sunday. Days are free for Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and the beach — all on the island.
The chequered flag falls at night and the concerts run later still. Our default race stay checks out on Monday the 7th, so the last evening is never rushed.
