The Orchard is the villa neighbourhood of Sobha City: stand-alone estate villas on tree-lined streets, with green spines and walking trails running between the plots. Every villa has three floors, a passenger lift, a private pool with a deck, and a guest bedroom on the ground floor.
The 4-bedroom villas have 4,309 to 4,516 sq ft of living space on plots from about 4,500 sq ft, with a maid's room and a 2-car garage. The 5-bedroom villas add a driver's room and seven bathrooms; in most of them the master suite and a rooftop terrace take the top floor. The 6-bedroom villas have a 3-car garage, a show kitchen next to the main kitchen, and plots of about 6,490 sq ft.
Sobha City is Sobha Realty's first master community in Abu Dhabi, in Al Bahia on the mainland north of Yas Island. It is planned around canals and green corridors: a 2 km waterfront promenade and marina, a par-3 executive golf course by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, forest trails and a wellness and cycling loop of about 20 km, with around 60% of the land left open and green. A mall, schools, a clubhouse, a clinic and a Juma mosque are planned within the community.
