The Terraces is a low-rise neighbourhood in the north of Sobha City: rows of garden townhouses around pocket parks and a sports court, with the golf course beyond the northern edge. Every home has a private backyard, a majlis or study on the ground floor, and covered parking for two cars. None has a private pool.
The 3-bedroom homes run from 2,578 sq ft in the middle of a row to 3,453 sq ft at the row ends, where the plan adds a maid's room and makes every bedroom en-suite. The 4-bedroom homes, 4,194 to 4,524 sq ft, are semi-detached or stand-alone over three floors with a lift; the second floor holds a bedroom suite and an open terrace.
Sobha City is Sobha Realty's first master community in Abu Dhabi, in Al Bahia on the mainland north of Yas Island. It is planned around canals and green corridors: a 2 km waterfront promenade and marina, a par-3 executive golf course by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, forest trails and a wellness and cycling loop of about 20 km, with around 60% of the land left open and green. A mall, schools, a clubhouse, a clinic and a Juma mosque are planned within the community.
