Oasis 1
A nine-storey block with a pool under shade sails and a gym, across the road from My City Centre Masdar — a Carrefour, a food court and some seventy shops. Masdar's parks and running tracks are a few minutes on foot.
Ideal forA short stay with everything on the doorstep, an early flight, a week of work in Masdar.
Less ideal ifYou want room to spread out — the studios are compact — or a late dinner on foot: Masdar is quiet in the evening.

Arriving: Parking is underground and opens with the apartment's access card: stop at the entrance, collect the card, then drive down. We send the entrance for your block.

The Gate
A ten-storey building at the northern entrance to Masdar, by the Siemens Energy headquarters, with an outdoor pool, a gym and a reception. The university is eight minutes on foot.
Ideal forWork at MBZUAI, Siemens Energy or IRENA; a quiet night near the airport.
Less ideal ifYou want shops on foot — the mall is a 17-minute walk — or space for two on a long stay: the studios are compact.

Oasis 1's smaller, six-storey neighbour around a courtyard pool, a few minutes nearer Central Park and the university, with the mall still across the road.
Ideal forA quiet stay with a big balcony, the mall and the park on foot.

Getting here and around
From Zayed International: 11–12 minutes, around AED 35–45 by taxi; Careem, Uber and Yango pick up at arrivals. No bus runs from the airport to Masdar.
From Dubai: About an hour by car from Dubai Marina (an AED 4 Darb gate at the emirate border), or Etihad Rail to Abu Dhabi MBZ City and a 21-minute taxi.
In Masdar: Cars and taxis reach every building, and Uber's driverless WeRide taxis cover Masdar. From October to April, the parks, the mall and the university are a walk.
Good to know before you book
- The studios are compact: made for one or two on a short stay.
- Masdar is quiet in the evening and at weekends; for a late dinner, Yas Bay is 13–15 minutes by car.
- The airport is next door: take-offs can be heard.
- There is no beach in Masdar — the nearest is on Yas, 15–18 minutes by car.
- June to September, even a short walk at midday is hard going.

Questions guests ask
How far is Masdar City from the airport?
11–12 minutes by car: around AED 35–45 by taxi from the arrivals rank, or Careem, Uber and Yango. No bus runs from the airport to Masdar.
Is Masdar City car-free?
Not any more: cars and taxis reach every building. Uber's driverless WeRide taxis cover Masdar, and the shaded streets are made for walking from October to April.
Is it a good base for ADNEC or the Grand Prix?
Both are 18–20 minutes by car without traffic. For the race, our homes on Yas Island are closer; Masdar is the quiet option beside the airport.
Is there a beach?
Not in Masdar. The nearest is Yas Beach on Yas Island, 15–18 minutes by car, with day passes (AED 80 on weekdays, 150 at weekends); the free Corniche beach in the city is 28–29 minutes.
How do we get from Dubai without a car?
Etihad Rail from Dubai Al Yalayis to Abu Dhabi MBZ City, about an hour, then a taxi of about 21 minutes.
